WANT TO BE PRESIDENT?
SIGN HERE PLEASE.
“It's a simple idea. Our country
is built on three founding documents: the Declaration of
Independence, The U.S.
Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.
If you want to be
President
of The United States, shouldn't
you be willing to sign them?”
This revolutionary
challenge was delivered in letters to the campaign
headquarters of all the major candidates for President
by Breed’s Hill Institute founders Dan Shippey and
Michael Burns.
“We want the candidates to sign publicly to
reaffirm their commitment to the principals of these
documents.”
Right now, replicas of the historic items are being
created for the candidates to sign.
With all the campaign
arguments over health care, the war in
Iraq, and immigration,
the most essential questions about America are
being ignored. Namely, “Are we still following the
blueprints for the nation crafted by the Founders?” and,
“Which candidates will lead us back toward those
ideals?” The
website at willyousign.org will be posting updates on
which candidates agree to sign and which ones refuse.
The Non-profit Breed’s Hill
Institute lays out this very public challenge as part of
its ongoing mission to preserve American Liberty through
education.

Biographies
Founder and President Dan Shippey
developed Breed’s Hill Institute to innovate
entertaining and dramatic ways to bring the story and
ideas of American Revolutionary history to everyday
Americans. While building and running his own business,
he has followed a path of lifelong education, seeking to
better understand the founding of the American nation
and the fascinating characters that shaped it.
Vice President and
Director of Education Michael Burns began his career as
an educator in 1999.
Quickly becoming dissatisfied with the standards
and results in the public education arena, he discovered
inspiration in both early American education methods and
pioneering new ways to educate people at all stages of
their lives.
